Join Daniel Dyboski-Bryant on the Art Gate VR platform April 17, 2021, for an Educators in VR Field Trip to explore this innovative immersive art platform during their second annual International Art Fair in VR, Art Gate International 2021..
Daniel will lead the group through a tour of an exhibition created through a collaboration with York University, The Art Gallery of Ontario, and Cape Dorset Fine Art, joined by one of the pioneering MFA or PhD students from York University’s Art History and Visual Culture Graduate Program.
Art Gate International 2021 is April 15-18th in VR and represents exhibitors from around the world including South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The galleries and social art events include Erin Loree, Dr. Pioloto Obdulio, Jai Mitchell, and many more and celebrate historical artists’ work as well including the masters such as Cindy Sherman, Pablo Picasso, Louise Nevelson, and Andy Warhol.
This is a one-of-a-kind event that brings thousands of international attendees together to explore the diversity of art in an immersive experience. Art Gate VR was founded in 2019 and over 25,000 people have visited the galleries and exhibits. The first Art Fair 2020 broke records during the COVID-19 pandemic, and expects to break more this year.
Educators in VR is honored to be included in this special event. The exhibitions are free to the public and accessible through the Art Gate VR app on Oculus Go, Quest, Quest 2, or 2D Windows or Mac laptop or desktop. The field trip event is limited to 100 people.
