The Choosing a VR Headset workshop in ENGAGE XR has been MOVED to the Spatial.io platform. We will still be covering VR headset choices, history, technology, and techniques, answering questions you need to know about making those VR device decisions, including discussing the latest headsets coming on the marketing like the Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro. The workshop is in a special world created by one of the Educators in VR Virtual Hardware Team leaders, Mark Jeffcock, specifically for this event.

The event will be at the same time Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 3PM PT / 6PM ET / 2300 UK / midnight Paris / 8AM Sydney / 600 Hong Kong.

We are exploring “MarkJs Techscape.” This unique world was created by Mark Jeffcock as a walking tour through VR headsets, history, and technology, including the Pico 4, Lume Pad, Nreal Air, Qoocam Ego, Zapbox 3, Insta360 Flow, and other devices and hardware for the VR metaverse.

This expedition is via the Spatial social platform. If you haven’t used Spatial.io before, please register in advance at Spatial.io.

If you want to attend in a browser (Firefox recommended.) use MarkJs Techscape World in Spatial.

If you want to join in VR, install the Spatial app on your Quest headset via the normal Meta store. From your computer’s browser, go to MarkJs Techscape World in Spatial and click the “love this space” heart icon. In your VR headset: Open Spatial app > Menu> Spaces , ‘MarkJs Techscape’. If you don’t find it, just search for “MarkJ.”
